Many thanks to everyone that have sent messages of love and support. It's amazing to think about all the people that Abby has affected.

We are having a memorial service on Friday, April 11, at 3:00pm. There will be a reception following the service at our house. All are welcome.

Skyline Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home
4101 NW Skyline Boulevard
Portland, OR 97229

I have been trying to figure things out, and there is no answer. There was no way to predict what happened and once it did happen, there was nothing anybody could have done. We wouldn't have done anything differently. Abby was a beautiful little girl. She taught us so much about everything. Words cannot express the love we all feel.

Greg and Jenn, Abby was a very special little girl. You are correct that she touched so many, many people, in so many different ways. She was a blessing.

Greg & Jenn: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Karen & Mark had sent me the link to your blog this past fall and I have been reading your updates as they progressed. Abby had such strength and endured so much for anyone, especially a baby. I was so happy to learn that she had been sent home from the hospital and was shocked when I learned today that she had passed away. Words can not express the sadness I feel for both of you and I know the upcoming days are going to be very difficult for you both. I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and your family and that you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Alexis Santoro

Greg and Jenn, I am a friend of Abby Umansky who bought one of her necklaces to support baby Abby. I was particularly touched by your story because I have a baby girl who is exactly one month older than Abby. I have been following your blog and hoping for good things for your family. Please know Abby touched people she never even met! I am so sorry to hear of your loss - you are in my thoughts. Stephanie Baron
